Wow I can’t believe we have not posted here for a month. That shows how busy we are...Carol has been teaching her Visual Journal class and Metal Clay and we both have been working on teaching proposals for 09...and.... we are in two shows this Month:
4th of July at the Mission Art Show Alternative Site- 2227Garden Street at the corner of Pueblo and Garden. 10am -5pm
6th of July at Dinosaur Caves in Shell Beach just off the 101. 10am- 4pm
We are both in the Art from Scrape Assemblage show right now that will have it's silent auction in July 19th, in Santa Barbara.
Some exciting news for us is we are both getting in some publications: we are both in 1000 Artist Journal Pages by Dawn Sokol, Syd is in True Vision by LK Ludwig and Carol will be featured in Mixed Media Self Portraits due out September 1st, 2008. It is thrilling to see that one of Carol’s articles made the preview!!! There are more books in the wings..but more on that later.
